Services for Mrs. Caroline M. Eggers, 80, mother of Dr. Richard R. Eggers of Crawfordsville, were conducted Wednesday in the United Methodist Home Chapel at Franklin. Burial was today in a Hammond cemetery. Mrs. Eggers died Tuesday in Johnson County Hospital at Franklin after a three-week illness. She was born Aug. 10, 1893, and resided at Whiting until moving to the Methodist Home at Franklin in December of 1968. She was married to C. H. Eggers on Sept. 25, 1912. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Eggers was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church at Franklin and Order of Eastern Star. Survivors in addition to Dr. Eggers include two other sons, C. W. Eggers of Franklin and Norman E. Eggers of Carmel; a brother, W. A. Buehler of Sacramento, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. – jlr
